A POSITIVE AND HOPEFULLY AN INSPIRING POST

Hey all,

Right now we all need some positivity. Every year I pick one word for the entire year. This year’s word is “Inspire” Hopefully this will inspire you.

How you all are doing with the Coronavirus quarantine “Shelter in Place”?

Chuck and I are hunkered down in a campground west of San Antonio, Texas until this coronavirus passes. Really looking forward to being able to hang out with people again. We’ve been working like crazy, which is good I guess. I’ve been doing daily morning yoga on Google Meet with a few family members. This is helping me keep sane right now. Plus we’ve had a few fireside party chats with friends and other family members via Zoom.

30 DAY YOGA CHALLENGE

Since Chuck and I left for full-time RVing 10 months ago and loving it, by the way, I’ve gained some weight and haven’t really been taking care of my body. This needed to change, so for the first time in my life, I’ve decided to give Yoga a try and really commit to it.

While we were on South Padre Island, I decided to do a 30 Yoga challenge. I had never done yoga before and thought I would give it a try. I found a 30-day yoga challenge online and a 30-day plank challenge online.

FIRST DAY

The first day is a one minute Yoga pose and a 15-second plank. I thought that doesn’t seem too hard. In the beginning, I honestly couldn’t even do the 15-second plank. Yoga was fantastic!

A week from starting the challenge, I loved it so much I added 5 to 8 extra yoga poses a day, a 30-day thigh challenge, and a 30 day push up challenge. On the first day of the push-up challenge, I couldn’t even do one knee push-up.

30 DAYS LATER

30 days later, I was able to do a 2-minute plank and 35 knee push-ups (still knee push-ups but that’s okay) and now commit to 30 minutes of Yoga, and added meditation along with it.

Chuck joined in too. Our hall in the camper works great for us to take turns, plus we have the outside to be able to do Yoga and meditate. We both feel great!

With so many of us bored at home now is a great time to start. This isn’t only for women. I want to inspire guys to do it too.

The goal of this post is to inspire others. So my challenge for you for the next 30 days, commit to, one minute of yoga a day. Just see how it goes, see how you feel.

Love you all, from the road.
Chuck and Sandi

P.S. I am currently on day 33 of my next challenge which is a 100-day challenge.
Good luck everyone, if you need support and/or encouragement to commit I am here for you just send me a message.
